The Team
We come from operating rooms, academic texts, and design studios and we all ended up here (on a rocky mountain in Ramona) because we believe the deepest healing happen beyond modern knowledge infrastructure

Sophia Wang
Founder
Sophia has spent over two decades in healthtech, building a medical device company that heals hearts, literally. But she has always understood that healing cannot be reduced to instruments.

Her deeper calling has always been teaching. And her lifelong subject, both personal and intellectual, is Eastern philosophy. Not as a detached academic pursuit, but as something to be lived, questioned, and practiced daily.

The land in Ramona became the classroom she had been looking for. Here, she is no longer a founder or a technologist. She is a student again, learning from the soil, the seasons, and the quiet discipline of growing things.
Camille Wang
co-director
A UCSD alumna and current doctoral candidate at Pacific College of Integrative Health and Science (Doctor of Chinese Medicine), she was trained in the rigor of Western academia but raised with the quiet influence of Eastern philosophy at home.

Her real education happens outside the classroom: in her own garden, where she grows herbs, raises small animals, and experiments with formulas she reads in ancient texts.

Yushuo Ding
Co-director
Growing up amidst constant movement and upheaval, Yushuo found her anchor in the natural world, as small as the resilient sprout of a taro forgotten in the kitchen.

She holds a Bachelor's from UCSD and a Master's from Harvard GSD, where she trained to see landscapes as living systems instead of a backdrop. But her relationship with nature has always been personal before it was professional.
She found comfort in nature as a child. Now she wants to give something back. The Polaris Foundation gives her real ground to do that
